CHARLESTON CONDOMINIUM RULES AND REGULATIONS

RENTAL GUESTS

 

THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS MUST BE POSTED BY OWNER IN ALL UNITS USED OR RENTED TO OTHERS.

 

1.      USE OF GAS OR CHARCOAL BARBECUE GRILLS IS PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON CHARLESTON CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY EXCEPT AT THE UPPER LEVEL DECK AT THE POOL.  ELECTRIC GRILLS ARE PERMISSABLE.

 

2.       Trash and/or garbage must be bagged and placed in white barrels located near each unit.

 

3.       Restrictions and rules for common area pool are as follows:

a         No breakable containers may be used around swimming pool areas (absolutely no glass.).

b         There is no lifeguard at the pool, and persons are cautioned to use the pool at their own risk.

c         Pool hours are from 9a.m. to 10 p.m. (area is patrolled).

d         Running in the pool area is STRICTLY prohibited.  NO DIVING!

e         Children under 12 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult.

f          Pool furniture may not be removed from the pool area nor placed in the pool.

g         Please dispose of cigarette butts properly.

h         NO PETS

 

4.       Open parking spaces may be used for the parking of automobiles by either owner, guest of owner or renter.  They may NOT be used for the storage or parking of boats, personal watercraft, any type of trailer, campers, motor homes, and recreational or commercial vehicles.  Any of the above parked on Charleston Condominium premises are subject to removal at owners expense.

 

5.     Storage of gasoline, kerosene, oil or other flammable liquids within the units or on entrance decks or on the docks is strictly prohibited.

 

6.     Sorry, no pets allowed.

 

7.     Use of fireworks or firearms within the Charleston Condominium property is STRICTLY prohibited.

 

8.     Courtesy and good judgement must be used in controlling excessive noise and inappropriate language.  Use of amplified sound devices such as, but not limited to, boom boxes, PA systems, etc., at high enough levels to disturb the peace and tranquillity of neighbors, is prohibited.  Please observe quiet time from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

 

9.     In the best interest of Charleston Condominium and its owners, please DO NOT LITTER.

 

10.  The speed limit within the Charleston complex is 10 miles per hour.

 

11.  Boats which do not comply with Missouri State noise control ordinance are prohibited from using docks.  Skippers with “captains choice” exhaust systems are asked to switch to quiet when in dock area.  No use of docks except with written permission of dock slip owner.  Absolutely NO WAKE inside Charleston cove.

 

 12. Dock rules are posted and will be enforced.  Swimming is restricted to docks 2, 3, and 4 BUT swimmer 

       must abide by DANGER signs and dive or jump only outside of orange lines.  There are no lifeguards. 

       Swim at your own risk.
